This intermediate-level course is perfect for students who understand the basics of writing but need help taking their skills to the next level. Whether your child struggles with organizing essays, using appropriate tone and structure, or meeting grade-level writing expectations, this course provides focused instruction to strengthen both clarity and creativity.

Students will practice writing across genres—narrative, expository, persuasive, and response to literature—while developing paragraph fluency, transitions, supporting evidence, and revision strategies. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s current level and aligned with classroom standards, test prep goals, and academic growth.

Led by certified instructors with real classroom experience, our tutors help students write with confidence and intention. Whether preparing for middle school essays, standardized testing, or improving written expression overall, this course equips students with tools that extend across subjects and grade levels.

Students will practice narrative, expository, argumentative, and response-to-text writing, as well as shorter writing tasks aligned with academic subjects.
Intermediate writing builds on foundational skills and focuses more on structure, tone, evidence, editing, and academic voice.
