Learning Matters: Parent Day — Summer Readiness

About This Event

As summer break approaches, Learning Matters invites parents to a special event created to help families turn time off into time well spent. Parent Day: Summer Readiness Edition is a free, hands-on experience designed to help you build a personalized learning plan that supports your child’s growth—even when school isn’t in session.

During this event, you’ll learn how to create routines that keep learning fresh, fun, and flexible throughout the summer. Our team will walk you through common academic challenges that emerge over break—like learning loss in reading and math—and show you how to prevent them with simple, effective tools.

Whether you attend in person at our Roseburg education center or join live via Google Meet, you’ll leave with a clear understanding of how to support your child in key areas like reading fluency, math confidence, executive function, and even early college prep. You’ll also receive planning materials, access to our summer programs, and expert insight into what your child needs most—right now.
